A: We use 3M's world class vinyl wraps to ensure protection against everyday use.
Q: What kind of protection does the skin offer?
A: Our skins will offer protection from daily usage such as tossing it in a bag full of equipment. The skin are rated to protect against light scratches and scuffs, but it won't protect against heavy damages.
Q: Does the skin affect camera heat dissipation?
A: Please avoid covering heat‑dissipation slots and vents on your camera body when applying.
Application
Q: Do you provide installation guides?
A: A printed manual with clear diagrams is included in your package. You may also scan the QR code to access detailed installation tutorial videos.
Q: I am not skilled at applying wraps; can I install it properly?
A: We supply model-specific detailed instruction manuals and step-by-step tutorial videos included with your order to assist you with installation.
Removal
Q: How do I peel off the skin when replacement is needed later?
A: Use a hair dryer to heat each section for 5 to 8 seconds before slowly peeling the skin off piece by piece.
Q: Will adhesive residue remain after removing the skin?
A: Our tests confirm no leftover glue on smooth metal surfaces. Residue may occur on textured finishes such as leather and rubber coating. Long‑term high‑temperature exposure may increase minor residue risk.
Q: How to clean leftover adhesive?
A: Dab the sticky area repeatedly with the peeled-off skin; this normally removes residual glue effectively.
Q: Will peeling the skin cause paint peeling on the equipment?
A: Refurbished or aged cameras may suffer paint loss upon removal, while no paint peeling issues have been reported for brand-new camera models.
